How This All Works?

ELIGIBILITY

Local-provided training is funded by Contract Services Administration Training Trust Fund (CSATTF). These classes are available to those who meet CSATTF eligibility requirements.  Additional seats may be available for those not CSATTF-eligible, as space permits.

Any member of good standing in local #705, 706, 800, 839 or 892 may take local-provided classes. You do NOT have to be Contract-Services-eligible (CSATTF) to register for classes in the 5Star program or the classes put on through your local’s program.

We need a minimum number of CSATTF-eligible individuals approved for – and attending – a class for the class to be held. Without the minimum number of approved registrations, the class will not be held. Thus, if you are CSATTF-eligible, it is important for you to apply to Contract Services for approval to take the class.

Are you CSATTF-eligible?

This gets a little dense. We’ll do our best to make it clear.
REMEMBER: If you are not Contract Services-eligible, you may still register for classes!
Primarily, if you are listed (with all information current) on

  • the Industry Experience Roster (IER),
  • the Television Commercial Roster, or
  • the Teacher Availability List,

you are eligible to apply for CSATTF approval for these courses.

In the event you work in a job classification that is not covered by the Rosters, you must meet, and provide proof of certain minimum employment experience in the Industry.
